Getting Here

The Berkeley Nucleonics office sits in the Kerner Boulevard district of San Rafael, just east of Highway 101 in Marin County. The location is roughly 20 minutes north of the Golden Gate Bridge and convenient to all three Bay Area airports.

From San Francisco (SFO)

Take Highway 101 north across the Golden Gate Bridge into Marin County. Continue to San Rafael, exit at Central San Rafael, and follow local streets east toward Kerner Boulevard. The Marin Airporter shuttle runs between SFO and San Rafael about every 30 minutes from early morning to midnight.

From Oakland (OAK)

Take Interstate 80 west, then Interstate 580 west across the Richmond-San Rafael Bridge into Marin. Merge onto Highway 101 and exit at Central San Rafael. The Sonoma County Airport Express also serves the corridor on a regular schedule.

From the North Bay

From Sonoma and Napa, take Highway 101 south into San Rafael and exit at Central San Rafael, then head east toward Kerner Boulevard. Parking is available on site for visitors.

Transit and Shuttles

Marin Transit and Golden Gate Transit bus lines serve downtown San Rafael, a short distance from the office. Airport shuttle services connect the area to SFO and OAK throughout the day. Call ahead and we can help coordinate a visit.

Visiting San Rafael

San Rafael is the county seat of Marin, a walkable downtown of cafes, restaurants, and the historic Mission San Rafael Arcangel. The setting pairs easy freeway access with the open hills and bayfront that define the North Bay. Visitors often combine a stop at our office with the nearby waterfront and the redwoods a short drive west.
